1) Enter your Email address. We ask for this in order to verify that your Email address is valid. This is a required field.
2) Enter a Client Code if you have one. This is an optional field. You may leave this field blank.
3) Click the Sign-In button.
4) You will receive an Email containing a link to a webpage that will allow you to submit your text to TextEvaluator℠.

The TextEvaluator™ tool employs an innovative
measurement approach that is reliable, robust and accurate.
TextEvaluator℠
TextEvaluator℠ is a fully-automated technology for obtaining valid and reliable feedback about the complexity characteristics of reading passages selected for use in instruction and assessment.* Teachers and other educators can use TextEvaluator℠ to:
Determine an appropriate grade-level classification for a text, and
Determine which of eight possible sources of comprehension difficulty are likely to be most challenging within any professionally-edited text.
TextEvaluator℠ is designed to evaluate any professionally edited text that is formatted as continuous prose, including informational text, literary text, and text that incorporates a mixture of informational and literary elements. TextEvaluator is not designed to evaluate student essays or other texts with syntax, spelling and word choice errors, as these require additional modules.
